We had to quickly release PhoneGap Desktop App 0.1.7 Beta to fix a critical bug found in PhoneGap Desktop App 0.1.6 Beta.

Can you try deleting the localStorage used by PhoneGap Desktop. This will remove your project from PhoneGap Desktop's cache, but will not remove your project from your computer. Make sure you have closed PhoneGap Desktop; delete the localStorage at the locations below. On Mac: /Library/Application Support/PhoneGap/Local Storage.

Installation

• Closed source apps are supported on PhoneGap Build but you have to pay some fee for it - still probably cheaper then Mac;-). – Nux Aug 18 '15 at 9:38 I haven't tried yet, but i can tell that you may hit some issues with PhoneGap build, I remember that PayPal plugin wasn't supported for example.
• We already use the phonegap CLI, so having to type '(something else) build' is not big deal. What is a big deal is it goes off to a cloudy Mac to do the builds, so we don't have to interrupt the one person in the office who's got a Mac just to run a build tool.
